Scottish Greens comment on survation poll
Commenting on a new Survation poll which shows that the Scottish Greens are set to elect more MSPs than ever before at the next Scottish Parliament election, that the Scottish Greens are the only opposition party to enjoy an increase in support, and that support for independence has also increased, Scottish Greens Co-Leader Patrick Harvie MSP said:
“This latest poll shows that people appreciate the Scottish Greens constructive opposition. While all the tired, old opposition parties are losing support, more people than ever before recognise that a vote for the Scottish Greens actually gets things done. From Scotland’s fairer tax system, to improved environmental protections, and free bus travel for young people, due to be introduced next year, our MSPs have delivered time and again for the people of Scotland. And with more MSPs next time we can achieve even more.
“It’s encouraging that support for independence continues to increase. In the face of Boris Johnson’s Brexit Britain and his attack on devolution it’s never been clearer that Scotland’s future must be in Scotland’s hands.”
