Scottish Greens welcome rail pay deal
Responding to the announcement that a pay deal has been agreed between ScotRail and rail unions, Scottish Greens transport spokesperson Mark Ruskell MSP said:
“I am delighted that an agreement has been reached that will secure rail services throughout the COP26 summit and end the weekend disruption that has been experienced on the network for much of this year.
“Rail workers are to be commended for their commitment which has ultimately resulted in this improved pay deal.
“I know that this agreement will be welcomed by all of those who regularly
rely on Scotland’s railway.”
