It’s been established that Network Rail would be forced to pay for and re-open the Levenmouth rail line within a year if a train operator asked them to; thanks to Mark Ruskell.
Our very own Regional List lead candidate for Mid-Scotland and Fife has been working his magic in the Scottish Parliament with the help of our current crop of Green MSPs to establish that Network Rail would be forced to pay for and reopen the Levenmouth rail line.
Mark has called the news a “game changer” and the move was seen as a boost for campaigners who want passenger services to operate on the route between Glenrothes with Thornton and Leven.
